11.000 times thank you!

Three days in Park Den Brandt. Three days of sun, music and over 11.000 people who came to listen, discover and stay a little longer than planned. Jazz Middelheim 2026 was a record edition - and Saturday sold out for the very first time in the festival's history.

A completely full Concert Hall falling silent for Flea & The Honora Band - the kind of quiet that only happens when a room is truly moved. Marcos Valle in the afternoon sun, unhurried and warm, the park at its most generous. A masterclass from Billy Cobham that reminded everyone in attendance what it means to play with complete authority. And The Buena Vista Orchestra closing Birdland with a sweaty, joyful set that had everyone on their feet until the very last note. These are the moments Jazz Middelheim exists for. The ones that are hard to photograph and impossible to stream. The ones you carry home with you.

This is only the second edition of this new chapter - and already it feels like something real is being built here. That's not just down to us. It's down to the artists who gave everything on stage, the volunteers who kept the park running, and above all the audience that showed up, paid attention and made the whole thing feel alive.

Jazz Middelheim has been part of Antwerp's cultural life since 1969. Editions like this one are why it keeps coming back.Thank you for being part of this. Genuinely. See you in 2027.
