Our ticket system, explained
We like to keep things simple. So here is exactly how ticket sales for Jazz Middelheim work. For this edition, we work with a limited number of ticket waves. There are no special cards or hidden systems. Just one clear principle: the earlier you buy, the better the price.
Before regular sales begin, we offer 48 hours of early access to people who are already connected to Jazz Middelheim. This includes everyone who has subscribed via our website, as well as those who bought a ticket for a previous edition of Jazz Middelheim. Early access starts on Tuesday 3 February at 12:00 (CET). During this window, only invited subscribers and previous ticket buyers can enter the ticket shop.
Regular ticket sales open exactly 48 hours later, on Thursday February 5 at 12:00 (CET). From that moment on, tickets are available to everyone.
Ticket prices are released in waves: Early Bird, Regular, and Final Wave. A “wave” means we sell a set number of tickets at a set price. When those are sold out, the next price becomes available. So nothing changes about the ticket itself, only the price does. For example, an ‘Early Bird Saturday Ticket’ and a ‘Final Wave Saturday Ticket’ both give the same access to the festival - one is just cheaper than the other. One principle applies throughout: the earlier you buy, the lower the price.
